Dakhla Oasis is located in the Western Desert of Egypt, and it is one of seven that are well-known in the country.
Dakhla was the capital of the oasis region during the Pharaonic period.
The oasis has different names including Dakhleh Oasis and the “Inner Oasis”.
More than half of the lands of Dakhla Oasis are agriculturally cultivated. This is because Dakhla Oasis is rich with a large number of water springs like “Bir Talata” and “Bir El Gabal”.
It has several historical monuments such as Deir el-Hagar.
