The Springs of Moses (Ayoun Mosa), were found 60 km south of Ahmed Hamdy Tunnel in south of Sinai.
They are 12 springs of fresh water according to the 12 tribes of Israel; they were opened by God to Moses and people of Israel during their escape from Egypt.
Today just 5 springs are still survived. According to the travelers that they were visited Sinai in 18th and 19th Century, they mentioned that this area was full of grass, trees and palm trees.
People go to Moses’ springs to seek healing from chronic osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic gout, etc…
Now only one spring that the water still exists in which is El-Sheikh Spring.
