Friday – Abu Simbel (L, D)
Arrival at Abu Simbel Airport, welcome by our representative holding a sign with your name. Then you will be transferred by private A/C minibus to board the Nubian Sea. Lunch on board. Visit Abou Simbel Temples, the impressive temples of Ramses II and his wife, Nefertari. These extraordinary works, carved into the cliff, were dismantled and transported to their present site in 1960 because they were threatened with inundation by the rising waters of Lake Nasser. They were rebuilt identically on an artificial hill a little more towards the interior. (Optional: Sound & Light Performance to Abu Simbel). Dinner and overnight on board.
Saturday – Kasr Ibrim / Amada / Wadi El Seboua (B, L, D)
Sailing to Kasr Ibrim . Wake up & breakfast on board. Morning visit to the citadel of Kasr Ibrim. Tour conducted from the ship’s sun deck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Lunch on board while sailing to Amada. Visit of Amada, small well-preserved temple of the XVIIIth Dynasty. Sail to Wadi el Sebou. Dinner and overnight on board.
Sunday – Wadi El Seboua (B, L, D)
Wake up & breakfast on board. Visit of Wadi El Seboua dedicated to Amon-Ra, and Dakka, dedicated to Thot. Sail to Aswan. Afternoon free while sailing. Dinner on board. Nubian show. Overnight on board . Overnight at hotel.
Monday – Aswan (B)
Wake up & breakfast. Visit of Kalabsha which is dedicated to the Egyptian god Horus and the Nubian god Mandulis and Beit El Wali erected by Ramses II in the beginning of high Reign. Check out and transfer to Aswan Airport.
